Mark Zuckerberg has developed a new personal virtual assistant named ‘Jarvis’ which works on Artificial Intelligence and is capable of following orders related to the daily home chores. He is using one for himself. In short, it manages your home by scheduling your activities and telling you which work to do when and how. Guess what’s exciting next..? Jarvis will be speaking in Morgan Freeman’s voice while it talks with you. It can wake you up in the morning with Good Morning greetings, can set your room temperature, can schedule your work and also notifies you about your business meetings and related work for the day. Predictive Analysis is the next big thing to get developed in the upcoming future along with AI and machine learning.
Jarvis simply understands you and your family and thus notifies you about every single happening inside your house. Jarvis would easily control your home’s Music, Lights and Temperatures and you can give a command either voicing it out yourself or by simply typing it on a messenger bot that is specifically built for operating Jarvis. Managing home will be that simple in the near future with the infusion of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning into our homes. Zuckerberg has been working on developing this AI technology to run homes on voice commands and now he is all open about the work he has created for the world to follow with sharing his own video while operating Jarvis by himself in his home. According to Zuckerberg in a Monday Facebook Post :
“My goal was to learn about the state of artificial intelligence where we're further along than people realize and where we're still a long ways off. These challenges always lead me to learn more than I expected, and this one also gave me a better sense of all the internal technology Facebook engineers get to use, as well as a thorough overview of home automation.”
The said AI also assisted him in notifying that his daughter has woken up and entertaining her till he reaches to her. Jarvis also helped him in getting ready for the work as the shirt he wanted to wear in the video automatically came out from a cannon like structure when he ordered for it from his virtual home manager. It helped preparing toasts in the morning and notified Mark when they got ready to be consumed. Setting up the VC(Video Conferencing) room is a simple task for Jarvis to help you with during a regular day.
If anyone comes at your door, Jarvis would easily identify that person and will ask you to confirm that whether to open the door or not. If it's a known person, Jarvis would let them in automatically and will even notify you on their entry irrespective of where your location is inside your house. Ask for Music in accordance with your mood and Jarvis will play it for you, be it Family, Rock, Pop or Melody.
